Cal tix arrived

Irvine is basically a commuter school. Cal lost to UC irvine in basketball a couple of years back. horrible.

The SC fans will get up for the big games. They were almost as loud as neyland for the cal/SC game in 04. Just make sure you have decent seats. The visitors seats are now BEHIND the jumbotron. Worst seats I have had at ANY venue. OF course when they were losing they were horrible fans.

UCLA fans stink and always have. The rose bowl also is bowl shaped so you feel like you are miles from the field.

I love LA though. :)

Maybe so. But the women :good!:

SC has far better looking women. :)

While a student at UF, I spent Christmas 1985 out there. A few days at UCLA followed by a few days at USC. The circumstances I will keep to myself.

At any rate, I found the women on the UCLA campus to be infinitely more attractive than their USC counterparts. The holiday break may have played a role. But 20 years ago, not even a contest.

You must have had a bad sample. Trust me there is no comparison. Let's put it this way. . . it's a LOT easier to get into USC than UCLA. And at USC you have women that can go to the gym 4 hours a day because daddy is paying the way.

Or the plastic surgeon. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

"Bayou trollop"...hmmm...that almost sounds like fun.

Shame I missed it.

Do tell.

Her name is "LSUtigerbandpiccolo." Posted a little and then gave us a link to her myspace page a few days back. Scrumptuous, if you like 19 year old LSU women. Maybe someone with better search skills than I have can give you the exact link on it.

Nah...I was just being curious, and you are almost always a source of intelligent entertainment.

I don't have a "myspace" page, but if I did, my name would be something like "RabidVolFanBeerDrinker".

Have to pass on the piccolo player. 19 and scrumptious or not. If you'd seen my wife shoot, you'd agree.

Thanks for the story, though...

Go Vols.

It was entertaining, but FYI she put the link in a thread here somewhere and then teased us for an hour or so with various comments. Not like you'd have to nose around a lot to find it. I just don't know how.

I can't speak for all cities, but as opposed to Auburn, Tuscaloosa and Gainseville, I imagine it's because there are other things to do on a Saturday in San Francisco besides go to a college football game. :eek:lol:

I doubt there are tickets left to any SEC team's home games this year. Betcha at least Florida, UT, S Carolina, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and Alabama are totally sold out.

How can a Top 25 team not be sold out at this point? Especially for a game against another Top 25 team? That is mystifying.

Dude, totally. You hit the head squarely on the nail. I don’t even feel this merits further discussion.

There is little doubt but that for locals there is much more to do in your area than for the residents of Gainesville and Knoxville. My point was really that Gaotr alumni, and I assume also UT alumni, pay through the nose for the opportunity to go to these games and sit in the alumni section. They buy or rent RVs, make arrangements with family and colleagues to go to these games months and months in advance. Its a real spectacle and a huge part of the entertainment market.

Florida does have other things going on, though. I mean, same weekend as any Florida or FSU or Miami game, you probably have at least one, if not two, home games set for the Jags, the Dolphins, and/or the Bucs.

In the end, I do think that the level of interest amongst SEC alumni for colege football is probably a notch or two (or 10 or 11) higher than for Cal football. Nnot insulting you at all. Just a fact that the intensity of fans here is over the top relative to just about everywhere else (Big 12 or Big Ten or whoever, notwithstanding).
