I give them credit. They looked 10 steps faster than our team which is supposedly fast. I don't see the speed.

Congrats Cal. You are the better team this year. Now go beat Southern Cal.

Cal is not that good and it will be proven later this year...we couldn't throw a pass over 10 yards and Cal knew it and couldn't stop it...do that against Florida or Georgia and we don't score 10 points...

I also think there is no way they beat USC.

Our guys are still fast. Cal's were still faster, but we will learn how to play better football as well. This year.

And they have no shot against USC.

That's ridiculous. Cal has had a chance in the last few years they have played USC. They have a Chance.
IMO... If prepared, USC could beat any team in the country by at least two TD's.

I think Cal will prove to be decent. 3rd place in the Pac-10, or tied for 2nd.

As far as our guys and Florida... The Gators are breaking in a new defense as well, and they will still not be fully primed by week 3. And Georgia is late enough in the season for our guys to be experienced. We can still win the SEC East.

Unless USC's D line stays home (as ours should have), they will force Longshore to throw constantly, will pressure him into looking like he did in the thrid quarter tonight, and will drill Cal into the dirt.

Even with the crappy defense, the difference makers were the fumble for the TD on the opening drive and the punt return.

I'm still trying to figure out why that punt was even close to Jackson.

USC WR can make more plays and cals D aint good enuf for USC... if they cannot stop inexp tenn WR i don think they can ever stop USC WR...

and the most imp... USC is not coached by fulmer and chavis

Yeah. That and the fact that they were like 10000 times faster than us all night.
