You are a VFL if you played on UT's football team.Doesn't matter ifyou started or if you were on the scout team.If you lettered or not. Some of you are presumetuous as to who belongs to be called a VFL.Those are the requirements. Cade is a VFL.Alontae is a VFL.As are players I cannot name who practiced everyday are VFL's.If you had said something like you stated in the 60's or 70's or later to a player, your ass who be on the floor from having your jaw jacked.Back then, nobody gave a damn if you had said,"If you hit me I'll sue you!"You would have been done.Hiding behind keyboards in the dark is a man"s game now.

Anyone NOT see what happened to Matt Corral last night? For goodness sakes folks, this guy has a legit shot to make some life changing money playing football. I truly appreciate the sarcasm opening the thread as well.

Look...we can't just go around all willy nilly handing out and taking away VFL titles.

As guardians of the VFL mantle here on Vol Nation, we have to take this sacrosanct responsibility seriously.

I am disappointed in the OP with the lackadaisical attitude.

NFL $ over playing a 5th yr of CFB, seriously? If he were playing for NC contender for next season agree he may should stay to try and get a ring, otherwise the smart decision is to take the $ and run. Some of you seem to put your college affiliation over common sense.

I may get blasted but don’t care. I for one don’t think he ever gave a damn about wearing Orange. Does anyone but me remember the little video he was on. People will say he was a kid and kids make mistakes, which they do. But that was disrespectful to this state and university. Good riddance

There’s more that goes with the story. You’re right it was a kid being stupid but it was mostly bc he was frustrated with the direction of the program and acted like an idiot. Kid had been a Vol fan his whole life. I’m not taking up for him bc I said when this went down that he would end up regretting it.

He had the talent to start at Georgia or here. I’m not sure if he ever would’ve been a factor there bc of his injuries.

I wish Cade luck in the draft and NFL. But I am not disappointed that he is gone. Our OL was average at best and he was supposed to be the leader.

Nor is he a dawg. He couldn't cut it there so can't back home and stayed injured. He used UT as a stepping stone and stayed injured. He couldn't cut it at UGA. He had to work there, not as much here. What a disappointment. He will not last but he will make a little money. I agreed.... Not a VFL...
lol he was a projected first round pick when he left UGA.
