Tennessee has been more heavily involved for standout California linebacker Abduall Sanders since William Inge took over at the position. The two had a strong relationship previously, and it has not dropped off since. Sanders is at least intrigued by Tennessee and plans to check the Vols out in the spring, and then take an official visit in June. He has gone back and forth on committing to a school after spring visits, but like Utley, it is clear that he will continue the process with official visits later in the cycle.

Cautiously optimistic. Will be interesting who Inge is able to pull for his first class (Sims to for that matter).

One thing to note on Sanders:
Not sure how many they plan on taking but Bama has 3 other LB commits who seem really solid.

Unclear if Gass is a LB or Edge but I like him a ton. Seems like Perlotte is a real chance and he’s a bigtime talent. Also curious about where things are with Arrington coming out of his visit.

Why is Perlotte trending away from uga?

Seems like writing may be on the wall that uga quietly looking to “upgrade”
IMO there’s a very very fine distinction at UGA between “we wouldn’t want him” and “we’re not going to wait for him because we have other elite options” and Perlotte/Shaedy seem to fit the latter bill.

Looks like him and Coach Banks got into it 😂
I appreciate Banks keeping it real. Mama looks respectable. Pops is ready to go. Heupel and Ingle are happy to be at Tennessee so they always going to smile.

We need to stop wasting our time with that school. Plenty of talent to build a National Championship roster without ever setting one scout in Santa Ana, CA

0-13 for the Vols

And I’ll still be cheering Mader Dei when they play this season. They have an awesome schedule!

From Rivals:

The four-star linebacker from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei remains happily committed to Alabama but is a little more open in his recruitment after being at Tennessee last weekend.

Sanders loved how family-oriented the team was throughout his time in Knoxville and the coaching staff made it clear they love how he plays and thinks he can help bring back dominance to the Vols.
