Tennessee and Louisville have been ramping things up with Berry too and Syracuse just offered.

Tony White from Syracuse offered Berry as a cornerback.

"I talk with coach Greg Gasparato at Louisville and with Tennessee, coach (Willie) Martinez and (De La Salle alum) Kevin Simon," said Berry. "I know I want to visit Louisville and Tennessee for sure."

This is an honest, not smart aleck, question.

Why are we so prone to assume that a player from a particular HS can be influenced that much by another player from that particular HS? I don't know Henry T or his personality or what team mates thought of him. I do know that I've had team mates in both sports and business who were "good" at their jobs... but I placed no value on their opinions or wisdom. For all we know Henry T's departure and the rumors around it will make this kid like UT better.
