We may have more guys that the staff knows will be hitting the portal, maybe even some told to, who knows? They seem to be busy behind the curtain.

I think a lot of people are forgetting how many kids will hit the portal after spring practice.. I think the staff probably thinks that they would rather see what come available then rather than just taking any defensive player. That being said, there are a few names out there that I hope they are looking into, whether it’s McCoy, height, kimber, etc.

Tank Bigsby would have been such a great addition. Sustained offensive drives and more time of possession. Defense would have greatly benefited from that.

USC transfer Bru McCoy hit the portal on Thursday and it won’t be shocking to see Tennessee work to get involved in that one. McCoy is very familiar with Velus Jones as those two have known each other for a few years. Jones’ time in Knoxville gives Tennessee a shot with McCoy in our opinion.
