BYE WEEK = Who was Tennessee’s quarterback when you became a Tennessee fan?

I think it did, and that caused our kicker to miss our FG attempt. I remember just deflating after that. Tough loss. I remember we were outclassed. 2 years later I finally got to feel a win against Bama listening to John Ward on the radio.
Yep, I remember being wet as hell all the way up the top deck. 🤬. Funny you mention the '82 game, got to watch that one person too. Made up for getting drenched.

Now I remember it was raining cats and dogs, and Charlie Daniels sung Devil Went Down to Georgia at halftime. ABC cut in to show his performance, and Keith Jackson was caught flat footed when Charlie got to the part of the fiddle duel, and said, "I done told you once, you son of a B****, I'm the best there's ever been". It was pretty funny for an 8 year old.
And Charlie Daniels also changed the "In America" lyrics from "better put your hand on a Pittsburgh Steelers fan" to "Tennessee VOLS fan", which I loved.

Tyler Bray. I remembered the other QBs growing up like Manning and Martin. But i was never a true fan. I couldnt sit still long enough to watch a game. When i was in high school i still didnt "watch" college football. I had girls and cars on my mind. I did have a few classes with Dennis Rogan at Fulton. I joined the marines in 08 and i got out in September of 2012. My friend invited me over to hang out and watch Tennessee vs UGA. Watching that game was fun. I was hooked. Our defense couldnt stop a parked car, but our offense was a blast to watch. I have been hooked on Vols ever since. :)
