IMO Harbaugh won't go there..Too dysfunctional...He loves where he's at...Michigan tends to eat their own and IMO Harbaugh isn't willing to leave what he's built at Stanford for the mess that Michigan football has become...JMO but Michigan would be stupid not to do whatever it takes to bring Brady Hoke there...

Make no mistake, they want Harbaugh. It was stupid of them to wait until the bowl game to fire RR. They've basically forced whoever they hire to pull a rabbit out of the hat in recruiting. Harbaugh would love the chance to rebuild a well funded, tradition rich program like UM. You don't think he could sell highly rated recruits on HIS own Alma mater? He would be a recruiting force nationally and he would be able to go after EVERY recruit unlike at Stanford where he has to take the kids that will qualify. Plus, look at what he has to deal with with all the bad facilities, small stadium, and high academic standards. Brady Hoke is a good coach but Harbaugh is THE guy for Michigan. Every UM fan I meet is sick of RR and the first name they mention is Harbaughs. UM would be extremely foolish to let Harbaugh go somewhere else.

This is a very toxic game Michigan is playing. They go all in with CJH and bust they could set themselves back for years.

Agreed. This is where the new AD either sinks or floats. Waiting to evaluate RR until after the bowl game was a huge mistake IMO

I am by no means a Nostradamous, but I believe if Harbaugh(sp) leaves he goes to the NFL. The Carolina Panthers are not only looking for a coach, they also need a quarterback. The Panthers have secured the first pick in the upcoming draft. I think they hire Harbaugh, and get Andrew luck with the pick. JMO.

Agree, if his job depended on the bowl, he likely shouldn't have been kept around to begin with

Michigan has already set themselves back years when the Rich Rod hire didn't work out. The new coach will want his own system and players to fit that system. Probably not the same kinds of kids that Rich Rod has recruited for 3 years.

i think the divorce there is complete. Holgorson (SP?) seems very capable. I would be excited to have him if i was a UWV alum.
