no surprise whatsoever. you know with all the media hoopla around ut recently, if he commits here then theyll be like hawks over us. we'd have to keep everything completely clean and tidy 100 percent of the time. any and every little misstep will be made enormous

I wonder if the NCAA will act as a fulcrum in this matter,To facilitate a parting of the ways. Also if the NCAA will tell the young man if you want to play College Football lose the excess baggage,if he will bold for the CFL?

Based on Brown's previous statements, I don't see the CFL as on the table right now. I do however see a parting of the ways coming between Brown and Butler. The last thing this kid needs is an ongoing investigation into his recruitment. Hopefully he realizes that Butler is an albatross around his neck at this point, and cuts him loose. With his physical ability, he doesn't really need a shady figure promoting him when his on-field performance speaks so loudly.

I really hope the ncaa puts this guy out of buisness. IMO he is just trying to find a way to b in the spotlight. These kids have a hard enough time deciding where to attend school without any extra influence. I am sure the ncaa is very uncomfortable with this situation. It would be easy for someone to start taking "donations" to steer players on way or another. I wonder what it cost to get Butlers ear?

Rut Ro Scooby Doo...Now seriously, how many actually saw that coming??...I hope Brown comes here but make no doubts about it that CLK will get rid of the parasite that clings to Brown.

It wouldn't surprise me if there were some rumors that he had received money from boosters, and the rumors of things like this happening might have been the reason the NCAA got involved.

Ex rapper and felonious bad checks ? Nothing at all against rap music ..but alot of those guys aren't choir boys . FELONY bad checks speaks for itself .

Why are the parents , who worry so much about the 'right fit' for their high school stars , placing their kids in the hands of this thug ?

I'm telling you guys, that kid and his pimp are bad news. Don't be surprised to see a hammer come down on whatever school signs this kid.

I really just hope they punish Butler and not BB or the school that lands him (no matter who it is).

What exactly qualifies an overweight rapper/cellphone manager to "train" elite high school prospects? I just don't understand why people would pay this guy for services they don't really need. BB could go anywhere he wants, Butler does NOTHING for him except throw wrenches in the process all along the way.

Maybe now the 'cat is outta the bag ' and the parents of these talented young men will take their kids back . I would hope that these people honestly didn't know .

What the heck would Brown and Oku need a mentor ( agent ) for ?? A) there is no real money involved B) They can go where ever they want and have the red carpet rolled out .

a 5'4 , 135 lb linebacker needs an agent in CFB . I fat cheerleader needs an agent . John Crompton needs an agent . These guys just need to chose any school in the country they wish to go to .

As a side note, if the NYT had a recruting column, I'd probably read it. They've given some pretty spot-on information.

The whole recruiting process with BB has turned me off; I mean, WEEKS after national signing day and this guy is still looking for the love? If his mamma loves him, she'll get him by the ear, take him home and wear him out, then make him lay it all out for he, her and his pop to make a pick. Would a kid with an attitude like this be a help or a distraction in our rebuilding process?

Butler is mad at former K-State coach for telling boosters to stop contributing to his "non-profit" organization. A direct violation!
That tells you all you need to know about Mr. Butler.
