I'm just taking a guess, but this is only based on how active Butch Jones twitter account has been.

He rarely tweet things unless it's Barbs Chip Dip players of week. But he was always active with the retweets.

Last few re-tweets

OCT. 10 - retweeted Antonio Brown
OCT. 8/9 - retweeted recruited player/with picture
OCT. 2/3 rewteeted Alvin Kamara NFL stats and "committed players"
SEPT. 28/29 retweeted TENNESSEE Vol Athletics *** the fact that he hasn't retweeted anything else from Tennessee Twitter account is a big sign to me he was fired.

Also the last times he tweeted Barbs's Chip Dip players of week?

SEPT. 27- Players for Umass
SEPT. 21 - Players for Florida
SEPT. 14 - Players for Indiana State

Did Barb run out of Chip Dip?

What happen for a Derek Barnett shoutout?

I think he's personally done and Currie and Butch have agreed to try to keep it under wraps.

Considering the huge amount of pressure he's under now and how badly the offense is playing, I could see why he wouldn't tweet/retweet that much any more. I have notifications from twitter turned on for when Butch tweets and I can say I don't recall anything really recent. Might be something to it

I have sort of thought the exact same thing. As bad as our offense has been the fact that no changes have been made is pretty telling to me. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

I’m gonna say if Butch had already been fired, then he wouldn’t still be “coach” Butch Jones. I just don’t buy the conspiracy theory that he’s been fired, but gotta wait on Gruden to finish mnf before everything is announced. Jmo

Probably because if he tweets everyone will bash him like John Currie. I could see people saying get off Twitter and fix this team!

Didn't that happen to Fulmer?

I have been thinking the same thing though I base it off of how relaxed he has looked in recent press conferences and his demeanor on the sideline.

The sooner you guys come to grip that Butch will be coaching next season, the sooner your mental states will improve.

Deal with it. The life championship king will be here in 2018.

If they don't make a home run hire, he might as well stick around.

He's STILL HERE. Usually, people aren't allowed to stick around and f*** up even more for weeks AFTER they've been fired.

Then again, the administration has never been that sharp.

Based on what history exactly? Seem to recall a lot of new blood being brought into UT within the last 12 months. Haven't seen a lot f*** ups from them. Quite the contrary, I like the moves made by Currie so far. So do tell.
