While I would like to see this happen, I don't see it being realistic. Georgia's top four prospects--Nkedemich(?), Lawson, Montravious Adams, and Vonn Bell--all chose to go to school in other states. And the University of Georgia is arguably better than some of the schools they went to.
Even though I don't think it's realistic, I do think you have to try your best to grab the state's top talent.
At least 3 of the 4 GA players you named were very situational and really not part of the "normal" state recruit.
Lawson wanted something very specific, small-town feel. Nkemdiche wanted to play with his brother at Ole Miss. Von Bell actually is from TN and was allegedly a Vol fan. I don't know much about Adams.
CBJ and staff seem to really want to lock down our state and with good reason. We had 3 five-star recruits this year (Ramsey, Herron, Bell) and potentially 3 or more next year. IMO, if they stay at it with the 2014 recruits all year with the energy they displayed in the short time this year, we'll do more than okay.
