And 2nd. I'm sick and tired of people on this board *****ing and moaning about who we didn't get. Get over it! Act like adults and and quit whining like little kids. True Vols fans don't :cray::cray::cray::cray: all the time. Man up and suck it up. Butch Jones is our football coach. Butch Jones will be a football coach for years to come. He will do great things for the University of Tennessee.

We will be fine because I firmly believe we have a coach that has us in the right direction. He can actually coach and take those 3* and make them perform on the level of a 4* recruit. He will have everyone playing hard and not laying down in the forth. Will we win the east next year? We probably won't but what I can say is we will compete for it and we will Rise To The Top. GBO

We will be lucky to win 6 games, that's not competing for the East.

Butch Jones will be the coach of this team for the next 3-4yrs..then he will be fired. Today was the 1st step toward that. We get one or 2 four-star players and the hallucinating masses declare success...or 'wait until next year...it will get better!'; Alabamy, LSU, GA, AU, TA&M, UF all got MUCH richer. We lost ground to everyone except UK, Mizzou, and Arky. It's amazing how dumbed-down the expectations have become. You are who you recruit....judging by today, we will continue to be a 5th place SEC East team. Get your season tickets now before they are all gone!

You are absolutely high! This was Dooley's pathetic class that Butch kept together and did his best to add too in 10 weeks. Of course every team in the SEC has a better class. They didn't fire their entire coaching staff. This is a solid class. Next year will be a great class. But better yet, Butch will actually develop the players he has and not let talent go waisted. Take your piss poor attitude out of here.

What do fans expect? Did anyone actually think Dave Hart hit a home run with CBJ? Did anyone actually believe CBJ was gonna come in and score a top 10-15 class? Everybody says "but look at our facilities, look at our stadium, look at our fans, all as good as any program in the country". Recruits take TN as serious as TN takes TN. TN doesn't take TN football serious. We were turned down by a mid major coach only to hire a coach that most had to Google to figure out who he was. Our rivals laugh at us. No please don't take this as a slam on CBJ. He may turn out to be a great coach and lead us to championships. It's more of an indictment on the UT administration from the president down. They can't grasp the fact that a strong football program translates to a stronger academic side. VOL fans better get used to this level of competitiveness for a long time. I think it will be another ten years before we are competing for championships. JMHO

The dudes been coach for barely 2 months and people are disappointed about this recruiting class?? these kids that signed to schools such as ohio state,alabama,texas a&m etc have been recruited by these coaches for atleast over a year, its hard to change there mind in 2 months. Think reality people, good lord.
