Butch on catalyst for the win

On his show Butch opened by saying Barnett's play changed the outcome.

I thought the catalyst behind the comeback was Derek Barnett...I thought he really took over the game. He dominated the game.

Butch has his players believing. In years past, when we got down you could see the body language of the players and know they would fold.

When we were down, players were hyping up the crowd and never panicked. There are things I don't like about butch, but he has stocked the cupboard and the team never quits.

Build on this 2nd half and no one will want to face us

ESPN has been talking a lot of vols this morning and some have said Barnett is the guy that took over the locker room at the half. Don't know how true it is.

I have to say Jumpers 3rd and 1 stop on the gator RB was pretty doggone pivoital and delivered the message, "your running game is dead from here on out."

Hard to disagree

I am guilty of being not optimistic about this game, I along with most was frustrated at all the dropped passes, i did not feel UT was going to mount a come back, this team won the game despite all the negativity, and they won me back as well. Its a four quarter game. I am, and will be a Vol Fan, regardless of outcome.

Hats off to DB and the rest of the D. But our O Line is light years better with Jack Jones and Chance Hall anchoring that right side and Weisman at center. Thank God Hall was healthy in time for this game. Dobbs had just enough protection to throw and they opened holes in the run game. Next man up mentality is fine and all, but there's zero doubt how important these guys are to that O Line.

Nothing mattered until we scored our 1st TD. Once that happened the flood gates opened, the players knew it, the fans felt it, it was game on.

Great win, it was only 1 game but felt like 10.
