That wouldn't be terrible hire for them. But they could do better. At this time of year though when the majority of coaches wont leave their current job. Id recommend them move forward with the one year interim like we should have done with Kippy Brown. Dont rush it and make a disastrous hire.

I don't hate Butch and I wish him success in the future as long as it's not against us. He just wasn't up to the job at UT.

Well in BB they got Huggins (a re tread from Cincinnati) and they are happy with mediocrity

Um...Butch is not a recruiting extraordinaire. He's pretty good, borderline really good, at getting highly-rated players on campus.

Now, whether those players fit his system or remain with the program is another question.
