Butch Jones still upset about Shy Tuttle's injury against Georgia last year

The former four-star lineman broke his fibula on a block by Georgia lineman Brandon Kublanow last season, a play in which Jones called “unacceptable.”
“I don’t think the entire country realizes how the injury occurred, which was unacceptable,” Jones said in reference to the play in which Georgia’s Brandon Kublanow blocked down on Tuttle from behind. “And two, the severity of the injury. That’s an injury some individuals don’t come back from. It takes their career.

I expect a lot of flags flying in Athens. This game is going to get dirty. I hope Kublanow is on his back so much the bottoms of his feet get sunburned

Brandon Kublanow is going to have the hardest job in America in a few weeks. King Tut will play his best game of the season in Athens.

He waited until now to call the dirty play "unacceptable"?
He should have raised hell about it at the time it happened.
Everyone watching on TV saw Kublanow's dirty deed.
How could Butch not have seen what everyone else saw back then?

It was a deliberate, intentional, malicious dirty play. He had every intention of hurting Shy

Fully agree....Kublanow is a POS. He held Shy to begin with and then dove at his knees. I hope someone puts a helmet right on his knee and I don't care who it is. Normally, I don't want to see anyone get hurt but I am making an exception for this dooooosh bag. GBO!!!

Pretty sure Butch reported the dirty hit to the SEC office.

That's the first I've heard that about the ticket image. That's inexcusable, IMO. They can claim it's a coincidence, but I'm not buying it.

Putting Kublanow on the UT-UGA game ticket just rubs the dirt in...

This, right here, actually surprised me quite a bit. There is no way the UGA Athletic Department can say this was just an oversight. This was an intentional troll job by them, and honestly, very, very classless. To even think of jesting at the fact you almost ended a players career is downright disgusting. I know football has some heated rivalries, and a lot of people take it seriously, but I would be extremely disappointed in our administration if we ever put Chubb, Lattimore, or any of the other players on our tickets or promotional materials for a specific game after such horrific injuries. I honestly expected better from UGA.

Butch made a big stink about it at the time and this was Georgia's answer:

Yes, he made his displeasure quite well known to both the SEC and to the media. I lost a LOT of respect for Kirby Smart when he chose Kublanow to be 9ne of the ten reps at SEC media days. Total lack of class.

I believe they said it was legal. He should have then asked them if that is a move he should teach all his players. Doubt they want it to become commonplace

That's because it is legal. Totally unnecessary and high risk for injury, but legal. They couldn't have suspended him for it.
