Obviously he had heard alot about Dobbs.. He was laughing during the question. I would say our QB is fine!

Jon Brice text CBJ yesterday and basically got the same answer. That was according to Brice Twitter

Jones says one of the main struggles was the team's first down efficiency. Said they had too many negative yardage plays on first down

left 5 explosive plays on the field

Praised McDowell and Abernathy

Butch: I believe we had 7 missed tackles. That's too many. They came at inappropriate times.

Well, when you run Hurd up the middle almost every 1st down, the defense might eventually catch on...

Butch said the team was excited about the win, but they understood they created some of the adversity in the game themselves

Do I remember seeing that we only threw the ball twice on first down? Or have I exaggerated that stat in my mind?

*Thanks for the updates JC.

Expects Kyle and Darrell to play...Shy will play..trying to get Alexis in shape...will need them VT runs 85-90 plays a game.

Butch says he'll 'know a little bit more about Shy Tuttle" and anticipates him playing against Virginia Tech

When asked about Croom and the overall health of the team Butch said that we came away from App St. pretty healthy, just the normal bumps and bruises. He said he expects EVERYONE to be available, including Croom and of course Dobbs. So there is the answer to everyone's question.

Debord needs to learn that we don't have to wait till its 3rd and 8+ to try throwing a pass. Also that there's no use in playing Dobbs if you don't take advantage of his best trait: running.

Butch says the team "did some uncharacteristic things in terms of ball handling and taking care of the football" on Thursday

My feed was cutting out, but did I hear him blame some of the defensive breakdowns on the home crowd noise?

Had 16 designed plays for Kamara but didn't get him involved enough
Jones says they would like to involve Alvin Kamara more in the offense

Wants to get Kelly on the field

Butch: I think that we have a lot of work to do. I'm not going to sit here and say we don't.

Depth charts went out 10 years ago...cares more about who is on the field at the end of the game

I don't understand the whole "we would've liked to have gotten Kamara more involved" BS. If you want to get him involved then damnit, get him involved! Nothing is stopping you but yourself. How hard is it to call a play that's designed around him?
