Butch encourages fans in presser

I will agree this is a rediculous thread. I'm outraged at the support the boobirds have received.

People called out for being negative due to them posting how booing the team has a negative impact.

Crowd getting loud while we are on defense a good thing.

Crowd booing when we are going in at halftime down 21-3 a bad thing.

Somebody set up the poll:

A) I boo players, coaches, refs, and injured players, if it's bad, I paid my money, I'm going to boo, grow a pair.

B)I boo coaches, not players, if you don't like it, grow a pair.

C)I don't boo my team, if you don't like it, grow a pair.

D)I will boo the opposing team when they take the field and refs after a bad call, if you done like it, grow a pair.

E)I don't boo, if you don't like it, grow a pair.

I am going back to the start of all this -

As fans we impact the game. We impact the image and experience that makes Neyland and our Tennessee Football team special. We impact recruiting through the perception that our guests see when visiting in person or watching on the television. As fans, we can choose to impact the game, the players, the coaches, other fans and potential future players either positively or negatively.

If you really support someone and something - be it a football team, you children, a cause, co-workers, etc. when things are not going well, you can either be that person that continues to believe and stand by them lifting them through the adversity or you can be that person that piles on with the rest of the "I'm only for you when you are doing good" crowd that is reminding them of their failures. Which are you?

I boo polls.

Eh. Its almost an obsession at this point.

Do you just stumble across certain posters or is it just fate that you seem to find em?

Just seems odd.

LOL I don't think so. But it is fun to watch the babies cry and those who come to defend them are funny too.

Gotta nip this kind of stuff in the bud. It's been addressed, let's see if it will be corrected. Our identity is on the film, is that what we want to be known for, booing our team and booing injured players. I'm all for booing bad calls by the ref, other than that I'm out.

Whoa whoa whoa! If by injuries you mean cramp timeouts and getting winded than we don't agree about the booing at all.

Well...if true...then the "BOOOS" while the Team headed into halftime certainly worked...

Maybe fans should start booing when the team is running through the T so they play the whole game pi$$ed off like they did in the second half against the reptiles?

Booing cramping out of shape youngsters is poor form. They should be hustled off the field and play resumed ASAP. I think we should boo the opposing team when they take the field to start the game and when they come out the second half and the refs, other than that, these youngsters are getting in harms way for my entertainment, I will give them a pass.

1. I'm female and sensitive.

2. I'm a mom and don't want to see anybody hurt.

3. THE GATORS LIVE IN FLORIDA CRYIN' OUT LOUD! I'm sorry, but if you live in the heat and humidity and can't figure out how to keep yourself hydrated and game ready you're an idiot.

4. If you FAKE having a cramp, you're a puss. Which is what I think they were doing, same as ASU.

We are in better shape than anyone we have played. I don't think they were faking cramps, I do think they were milking them for extra timeouts. It's poor form but what would you expect from a dirty gator that saw the train coming and could get off the rails.
