OP, this is a results based business with enormous salaries. He doesn't deserve anything. He needs to produce or go back to a lesser conference. If he want's to coach her, he will fire CMD, Fire Mahoney, and hire a true OC / QB Coach, OL Coach. If it was me, I'd do that today. At a minimum Mahoney would be gone and Debord coaching OL.

Definitely not disagreeing with this so don't take it that way. And although I support CBJ, mainly because he is our coach and I want him to be successful, I think he needs to be held accountable just like be holds his players accountable. So here is my question, because I honestly don't know? Is it possible he hasn't made a change like firing CMD or others because he's been told to wait for the new athletic director to be in place?

I think that they should keep Shoop. I thought the defense did fairly well with the injuries and all. Not to mention the reason that they've given up points is due to the offense not being able to keep them off of the field.

Don't we still have a chance to finish 9-3 before playoffs?

Don't we still have a chance to finish 11-3 with the bowl win?

Is this talk a little premature?

We re also sitting here waiting for UF to drop 2 games after beating them.

Right now they are playing better football than UT which will have to get its $=!+ together to even win out.
Thats the reality of where we are less the math.

If there is one thing I have learned after following the game for all these years.....

As soon as you start dictating what a head coach needs to do with his assistants, it's time for the head coach to go.

Demanding this assistant or that assistant has to go never, ever, works. At least not that I am aware of.
Nobody thinks it does. It's just what people say when they're too scared to demand an actual coaching change.

Firing Butch now would not make things better. Especially when you don't already have the next guy in line plus his huge buyout which we probably can't even afford right now. Who's to say we hire a coach that's actually worse than Butch? You honestly think it's worth trusting Hart again on a coaching hire?
