I would be thrilled to get Butch Davis but I would say that there are other options out there that are just as good or maybe better.

butch davis isnt leaving UNC; it's not a money thing. he wants the challenge of seeing if he can turn a terrible team into a powerhouse and is going to stick with them till he gets bored or tired of it

He could have that challenge at UT. We are certifiably terrible.

Nah, we're not doomed. I think there's tons of good coaches out there in lower-level schools just waiting for a shot. We don't have to get a Super Bowl winner to get us out of this rut.

Urban Meyer's best job had been at Utah, Richt had been OC at FSU, Saban was at Michigan State, Miles was at Oklahoma State...

I just wish we wouldn't put all our eggs in one basket. I would be ecstatic to land any of the guys I mentioned, but I really don't think it's going to happen. My point is that there are lots of good coaches available who would actually come here.
