He's done. No excuse for doing the same thing in games we did last year. Let's up on teams when we get couple touchdowns, then let them come back. We aren't NC quality yet but clearly we've shown we can beat these better teams. Then the coaches back off with the play calling, lack of adjustment, and no balls on even the first possesion of the game.
Only way he could change my opinion at this point is if he totally rethinks his approach to play calling/managing a game. Considering he did the same exact thing as last year, I don't see that happening. Last year I gave him benefit of doubt in that we didn't have as many options and he would try to play it safe, but there no excuse. If I continue to support that behavior then I have no reason to complain going forward. So if he does turn the corner going forward I won't mind eating crow.
He's the Vols football version of the Memphis Tigers Josh Pastner, great recruiter, but not a good coach in my opinion. We've been way to passive with him. At this point he's had chances to prove to us he's a good coach and failed many times. We can't keep saying we need to wait to see and make a judgement. We've seen up till this point.
