Butch is NOT considered a great success by any stretch of imagination after failing to win the weak east division after 4 years - he even managed to lose to Muschamp again (this time Muschamp beat him with high school QB). If what you say had any truth to it, Butch would be mentioned as top candidate for Texas, or LSU jobs (as an example). If Butch wanted to leave right now he would not get a better job than here anywhere (not even close, although to be fair there are not many jobs better than Tennessee in the first place).

That "high school" QB had been held back. So age/physical maturity wise he's the same as any other collegiate true freshman QB. His Dad is a coach who also came to Carolina, so he's always had that more individual attention than the average high school kid. So no, NOT your "high school" QB you want to allege. Freshman QB yeah. A good 'un.
