Greg Oden came in to the store last night (oops, let me pick up that name). So that was cool. Jury duty today, though. Posting from my PSP in the break room. Anybody got pointers on how to BS your way out?

Seriously, tell them you believe the Death Penalty should be used for all crimes.

Works every time.

Go to law school. It makes it really easy to get excused:good!:
I was selected.

And I have to go back tomorrow, I was supposed to be pulling a 13-hour shift at work. :bad:

There goes my promotion.

But in direct response to your comment, get this: They selected a civil defense attorney as a juror. HOLY F&%# did they seriously draw names out of a hat?

Say you're a womanizing racist. That usually works.
My supervisor told me to say "Yes, I believe that every person deserves a right to a fair trial. Except black people."

Milo I am looking for a 37 to 40 inch LCD, but want the most bang for my buck. Please advise.

Can't go wrong with a 37" Samsung. Overall best LCD's out there on the market. You can find an older one for around $1,000. Don't worry, the picture is exactly the same as the newer ones, the frame is different and I think there's 2 HDMI inputs instead of 3. Other than that, exactly the same. Some of them are still out there... Be wary though, some places (CostCo and I think WalMart) sell Chinese-built models, while most legit places have Japanese-built.

Muchos gracias Milo. I will pick one up tomorrow. I really didn't want to spend more than 1200. Do most have pic in pic?

Nicely put Milo. Love my Sammy CRT. :good!: Great choice for an LCD.

The Sony projection TVs are better than the Sammy projections though.

a couple of my coworkers are room mates and they have 3 hd tv's in the same room, next to each other. It's pretty cool. It's really easy to play video games on two TV's and then watch the middle one. Last time the UFC fights were on, we took the big one and hung it on the back of his house and watched them outside, most people did anyways. The others got high inside, and I got a contact high for the first time. Pretty funny stuff. LOL.

Most flat pannels do have PIP, but it doesn't really work since any HDTV source is digital. So it's going in through a component/HDMI input.

God work, VOLatile. I didn't think you could buy weed that good in the south.

I've got to get you to the Bluegrass Milo. They grow the stuff in schoolyards and behind churches in KY.

I live in Illinois. While I was in Iowa at the time... it's not known for it's abundance of weed, rather the abundance of that nasty stuff they call methamphetamine. I live 45 minutes from the meth capital of the world. They're proud of it, too. Some of the most retarded people I have ever met.

Did you ask him what it was like playing with Bird and McHale? I swear that guy is Robert Parrish.

A lawyer that cannot get himself excused from jury duty has no business hanging out his shingle. That is all I have to say about that.

EDIT: I can't imagine why either attorney would want a lawyer on the jury, either.

There were 30 prospective jurors, and they literally picked the left side of the room.

The plaintiff's case was overwhelming, and the defense really had nothing. It was a no-win for that side, but the woman refused to settle, so that's why it went to trial, I guess. They literally just picked the left side of the room.

I once had jury duty... but the case was settled out of court. However, that same day, a coworker of mine had to spend the entire day in jury duty in IA. Sucks to be him... literally.
