After leading No. 10/10 Tennessee in scoring twice in seven days, Cierra Burdick was named the SEC Player of the Week on Monday.

No surprise here as she should be named as SEC PoW. Good for you miss Burdick. Now, just keep it up.

she is playing great. just a couple of weeks ago most of us were wondering why she was on the floor at all. she seems like a good leader but her shooting was awful until this past week. we sure need her to keep it up.

Playing a lot better not hesitating on shots like she used to. She has a great jumper think she could be huge from the three if she had more confidence.

She's always had a nice jumper--but has mostly been a 15-foot shooter as opposed to a three-point shooter, no? I'd like to see her take a few threes. She NEEDS to be active and involved and make shots if the Vols expect to make any noise in the tourney. She got size and agility and a good shot. Her shooting was terrible early in the year but she seems to have regained her touch. We are not going to beat teams like Ct. or ND leaning on two players for scoring--everybody has be active and play well.
