Bud Foster has fielded some of college football best defenses for the last 20 years and the Vols senior signal caller will have his work cut out for him at the Battle at Bristol.

Can Dobbs and the offense step up against Foster's defense, may be the biggest question among Vol fans

I think so. Foster is missing a lot of pieces compared to what he's had for most of the last 2 decades.

The Vols should out rush VT, unlike the Appalachian State game, Vol fans surmise?

Foster hasn't fared as well against QBs that can run. We need to unleash Dobbs and use much more misdirection stuff than we showed against App State.

Because they had to face 8 and 9 man fronts all night due to the coaches' unwillingness to stretch the field.

Do the coaches feel that there is a 50% chance of interception when Dobbs throws the ball?

Butch is in charge of offense. It's the same since he's been here. Why do you think he hired debord??? Nobody decent would come here to run that garbage. It's a career killer for a coordinator. Butch is too arrogant to adjust. Bud foster will probably work a 3 day week to prepare for this junk

I'm not sold on Chairman of DeBord.
If this season's offense doesn't produce as expected, it'll be time for another Coordinator hire for Butch.

Why? A new OC will run the same thing Debord and Bajakian do/did. Why? It's Butch's lousy scheme with no backfield blocking.....

VT's QB was very shaky under pressure today... We should have a field day on Defense. Ford is Evans lone target... the other guys are average. We should be able to stack the box, bring lots of pressure and use shoops disguise blitzes... Our defense will eat VT alive this week.

Our offense is what needs to improve... Im sure it will when they open up the playbook.

No worries... Need to see offensive improvement to get the bad taste out of our mouths. I can't wait for this week and Im sure the players can't either

He looked shaky but they he can throw and catch short passes pretty well. I cringe when Dobbs throws

Plus we're so darn predictable. If I can sit on the couch and see what's coming, the obviously the "experts" can.
