I just bought new rims and tires so I had to go get new lug nuts to fit my new 20s. While I was at the wheel shop they told me they are putting Nitrogen in the tires now and it is improving milage and is better than air. I think its BS so do any of you know anything about this?

I believe the nitrogen molecules are larger than air, so the argument can be made that the leakage would be slower.

On a related car note, I hate foreign cars.

My F150 passenger side window quit working last week. Took to Ford place, regulator was the problem and cost $300 to fix.

My wife's Volvo had the driver side window quit working this week(unreal I know). Again, regulator is the issue, Volvo place wants $600 to fix same problem. Damn foreigners!

What I've heard on nitrogen is the less leakage - more constant air pressure stuff.

Not sure if it works or not.
