I like that Coach Pruitt commended him for his game play and his practice intensity. Perhaps he is an emerging leader and can inspire competition and "eye of the tiger" level of performance.

Agreed. I think by Florida you see Thompson and Alontae as the starters. I don't see how you start Buchanan he is a liability.

I also think we have a chance to see Flowers and Davis as starters in the safeties. Abernathy is just too slow and for as big as he is, he hits softly. He should be punishing guys.
Anyone heard anything on Shamburger? I was expecting him to have a big year

1. Abernathy is fast. Don't know #s. But, he ran Ty Chandler down from behind last yr on the kickoff TD. Game speed, not so fast.

2. Shamburger played a lot Saturday. Hope he sees more.

3. Will Muffchamp and their fans have to just love the fact Thompson is here balling out. Breaks my heart. :-D

Pruitt stated that Shamburger didn't see the field against WV because of bad practices. Like it or not he brings a disciplined approach to the game and has the balls to enforce it. Even when it means facing an all american group of WR's with three freshmen in your secondary.
