why wouldn't they appeal? There is no reason to just accept the NCAA's findings and sit BB if you don't have to. In fact it would be absolutely stupid and insulting to BB if UT didn't do everything in their power to get his name completely cleared
Maybe I'm stupid but how can the NCAA tell a high school what it can or cannot do?Can anyone clear this up?
I just had a really strange thought. What if BB's hip injury were to keep him out of the first game anyway, and maybe even the second game. If he does in fact have to sit out for a 1, or 2 game suspension would those games count has the 2 games, even though he was injured and couldn't have played anyway, or would they have to wait until he was physically able to play, and then make him sit out a game? For instance, the UF game.
If he only has to miss a game or two, just do it. Don't get the NCAA watching every move we make like Alabama did. We all know what happened to them.
