Someone explain the difference between an APB and a RB? I'm assuming that ABP plays the slot a little and can do some punt returns and kick returns. Kinda like a little of everything??

I think we need this guy more as a statement in the recruiting world than as a player.

Are you serious? Have you seen any of this guys film?

The he11 with a 'recruiting statement'. I'd much rather have this guy making 'statements' on the field for us.

An all-purpose back is a guy that is adept at pass catching as well as running. Typically a quick footed guy. A running back is more of a downhill, bruiser-type runner. That's how I've always understood it.

Darren Sproles comes to mind as an APB to me..

fo sho! watching his game film, literally, looks like you are watching a video game. it would make one whale of a recruiting statement, too. wont discount that.

Can you say this season's Terrelle Pryor?
I heard he committed to Miami, then de-committed to go to Oregon, and now he's opened it back up?

Make up your mind, kid.

i dont think he ever said, specifically, that he was going to Oregon. as with Pryor, i dont think anybody here, realistically, thinks we have a chance with Brown. that takes most of the suspense out of it. btw, who are you going to change your signature to, after Harvin goes pro? anybody but Spikes, i hope. i hate that guy with a passion.

I heard rumors about it, but I don't know if it ever became official. All I know is this kid has great speed and is going to be very hard to defend wherever he decides to go.

I think I may keep the Harvin avatar for a bit, at least until I get sick of it. He's always been my favorite Gator, it was tough to see him go, but that's a part of college football. I'd say if I do change it it will be the Championship celebration.

Recruiting Forum

Thanks for the info. I don't post a lot on here because of the anal replies like that one. I don't have time to sit at my computer and go through all of the forums either. I am glad for the post. If I don't want to read it I won't click on it.

I agree with you. People get so anal on here and act like the forum police.

Well after all of you one post every six months people leave, all of the vonation addicts are on here all day and do have to sift through all of the threads with the same subject...I understand how it can be quite annoying, however people are just giving you a heads up on forum etiquette or making light of your mistake and then you and others freak out about it.

Remember that if you don't reply to a thread, it will die. People who reply to threads perpetuate its life.

If you're really so upset about a "double thread" or "redundant topic", then just abstain from replying -- that's the best thing you can do.

So, to corroborate some of the previous posts, it very much appears like there are some "snobs" on this board.

The biggest irony to me is that someone would REPLY in a thread that they're complaining about!

New members are going to post dumb threads. If very few people reply, that thread gets lost on the 3rd page of the board.

If a bunch of snobby "regulars" reply, that thread is thrust onto the 1st page for the rest of us to read for a week!

Nothing makes me more disgusted then someone replying to a thread with a "negative comment" about how the thread has already been posted before.
