or Mississippi State. They have a dual threat QB now so he would fit the system and it is not too far from Memphis

Just like so many others from the area. I wish the city wasn't so closed-in. It seems like everyone from my hometown can't stand to go anywhere else but Memphis or Ole Miss

I think this is about to change with DD. Fulmer didnt like Memphis and made a few remarks about it, Kiffin wasnt here long but I dont think he would have done much better. However I think DD does and once he builds some ties and gets in some living rooms it will change.

Don't kid yourself. Memphis recruiting is always going to be an uphill battle. Half of the SEC is closer to Memphis than UT is.

I have never understood why Memphis is such a priority for UT. I would much rather hit the Atlanta/GA area hard where we have had success and good relationships. For the effort to recruit well in Memphis, I don't think the results are worth it.

I'm not just talking about football players. I'm talking about anybody in the city. They graduate, and they're on the fast track to never leaving that godforsaken city.

Go to Ole piss Barry, I want to see the Vols get a chance to destroy you before you leave college.

TIA

I was guessing Ole Miss or Memphis due to their lack of QB's. I bet he regrets not coming to UT. Kinda funny that this happens around the same time Ambles is granted his release from USC.

The hatred towards him makes absolutely no sense.

I don't get it either. In fact, I eally don't unerstand the hate aimed at kids period tat choose other schools. They're just 17-18 yea olds making a relatively important decision.

He has been telling some back in Memphis that he would go to Ole Miss for about a month now. The "weighing the options" is all for show until after the bowl game.

I don't get the hate either. Just saw him at dinner tonight and was wearing some UT apparel. He gave a little nod.

Don't understand it either. Never thought WVU was the right fit for him. Hope you are doing well. I know you're excited about the basketball game against Pitt. Are you going to the game?
GO VOLS!
