Another failure for the broncos in overtime in the Peyton manning era.
The other being the abysmal loss vs the ravens in the divisional round of the 2012 season.

That's interesting. Wonder how many opportunities Manning has had compared to Brady. Rodgers hasn't played as many games as those two so it's not the fairest comparison.

Being down by 15 or more with 10 minutes to go could mean one of two things:

1) I the teams defense regularly sucks (which was often the case for Manning with the Colts)
2) The offense had a bad 3 quarters then got hot late. (which was certainly the case yesterday)

How was the game vs the Ravens his fault? I guess he was out of position on that hail mary to Torrey Smith.

Seriously? Did you even watch this game or the Ravens game in 2012? For someone who talks so much about the NFL, you don't seem to have a clue about what's going on.

Doing the actual math (I'm eyeballing the numbers off the graph):

Manning - 10/41 (24.4%)
Brady - 5/25 (20%)
Luck - 3/13 (23.1%)
Rodgers - 1/11 (9.1%)

One of those things is not like the others if I picked the right bubble for Rodgers.

I would say it's both, but probably more to do with him consistently having an average-to-poor defense behind him.

I don't recall his team's being slow starters when he's had a good running game. He faces more 3rd and longs than he should, which leaves less margin for error. It's rarely a thing where his teams flat out can't move the ball. When they punt, it's usually after they gained a couple first downs, but then had to punt cause no one was open on 3rd and long. That's not likely to happen all game long, but if you start the game that way with a bad D, you could be in a 15-point hole after 3 possessions.

Manning has had crap defenses a lot of his career. His current defense is only marginally above average. His one Superbowl had a lot to do with Booger McFarland.

Russell Wilson has arguably the greatest defense ever behind him. Put Manning with that defense and he has another ring. Brady has mostly had above average defenses with great defenses and a few videotapes the years he won his rings.

The game is still more about defense than offense. Not always, but mostly.

It's hard for me to say this one way or another, but one thing is for certain, winning has a lot more to do with non-QB factors than it has to do with who the QB is.

Ok blame the putrid can't defend worth a damn need the super soldier serum defense that didn't stop Wilson from moving the ball easily.
Undeniably the int is inexcusable no doubt broncos very likely win if he doesn't throw it.

So I put the blame on both Peyton and the defense for this moral victory close but no cigar.

Yeah and he threw a int in that to.
But maybe you'll tell me how that wasn't his fault and has nothing to do with the loss besides the broncos defense that couldn't defend against flacco's great pass that tied the game.

This Loss who's to blame let's see the defense as they can't defend worst a damn to the Seahawks from scoring a overtime td.
Also manning for throwing the int very late as if he doesn't do that then the broncos can take the lead and avoid overtime.
So both the defense and manning are to blame for this loss.

Wow seriously just because I say another overtime loss for broncos in the Peyton manning era doesn't mean I'm saying it's all his fault.
I was simply stating a fact that this was another overtime loss for the broncos in the Peyton manning era.
He's not to blame for why that ravens game got into overtime they have the putrid milk toast defense to thank for that including the infamous blown coverage play to to tie the game.

I do recall right Peyton in a overtime threw a int that resulted in ravens kicking the game winning field goal.
You win as a team and loss as a team and undeniably can't say manning didn't. contribute to why they lost.
He's not solely responsible as in it's all on him but undeniably he's still guilty along with the defense.
