Briscoe needs to keep his mouth shut. Otherwise, lots of people are going to throw things at him in whatever drive through window. He will spend his future! He has no other. Have fun working in the fast food business Briscoe. You can laugh about your idiotic performances after the people leave your window all day and every day, BONEHEAD!!!!!

He has burned some serious bridges.

I bet he won't be putting many people from the University on his References in his resume.

How stupid can you get? He probably should have kept his pie hole shut. It's not like potential NFL, CFL teams will look kindly on the way he threw his coaches under the bus. What a team player.

I can't say that I disagree with anything he said, but it's really unnecessary to say anything at this point. What's done is done. The old staff is gone, everyone knows that things weren't great with anyone on that staff, no one needs that explained. People need to let last year die and point their eyes to the future. It wasn't the greatest year to be a vol senior and I know that, but as a 'team leader' there's no need to sling mud after everyone has gone through so much and there's so much work to be done to reach where we were even two years ago. These cry sessions are only hindering that work.

i just read the article on the VN front page. that is all i really have to go off of, but i like his honesty. what bridges has he burned by telling the honest truth? i would have been pissed, too, being told that. he will either make it in the CFL or NFL, regardless. i thank him for a little bit of insight into the atrocity that was our offense this year. it was not a cry session, either. it was just plain honesty, and will have absolutely no effect on the team that is coming. what up briscoe! *daps* good luck

He might need to keep his mouth shut, but he is right. Clawson's "2 year plan" was going to take to long. And, I thought it was interesting about the offensive linemen being switched around, and how the offense was to complicated.

And, how they cut back on the senior's reps to focus on the younger guys. That is wrong on the staff's part.

I'm so glad Clawson is gone.

I did think it was funny when he said "Clawson must be a great interviewer". That has to be true . . .

I am just wondering what younger receivers were getting all these reps over the seniors like he said. They sure didn't in the games.

i cant believe that i agree with this statement, thinking back to how excited i was to see the "Clawfense." i remember a post, back in the spring, about his college friend saying that he had a Wall Street mind, but decided to use it in football, or something of that sort. i still believe that he would have come out looking better, if Crompton could throw a pass and the OL could have blocked.

I like the insight into what a player is thinking going through a system change and how difficult it is, but on the other hand something he said really stood out. Briscoe said something about pre-snap reads being too difficult and players were thinking too much on the field. News flash for him but thats how it is at this level and above. Everyone has to adjust to the defense in front of them and the only way to do that is to know what youre looking at. If this kid is having trouble spotting a cover 2, he'll have some problems if he gets into the league

Alot of people are bashing Briscoe for stating his opinion. However, it is the same opinion that each and everyone of us has had over the last season. If Clawson came in with a two year plan, then Coach Fulmer is responsible for all the problems. He should know that a two year plan won't fly in the SEC.

Lol at Briscoe at it again.

Interesting read though... funny how Briscoe said "its not fair" for the young guys to get more reps. Really? I mean really? How about, the best players/hardest workers get on the field there buddy? Being a senior isn't a God given entitlement to playing time.

Good thing for him he was a senior. Kiffin would have cut his @$$ so fast his head would spin.

"Putting an offense in at this level, you can't have a year for it to take effect - not at this level, especially not at Tennessee. We expect to be able to win every week."

I don't see anything wrong with this statement. Brisco did speak a lot of truth.
