Looks decent, kind of like TF2 actually with some Mirror's Edge thrown in. Art style is pretty cool. Horrible decision not to release a demo though. Probably pick it up somewhere down the line.

Nice idea with the class system and having special effects for them but other than that it looks horrible. I see no reason to even rent this one.

I'm considering picking it up....anyone have it? I don't want to get stuck with a crappy game(like I did SOCOM 4)

Pretty crappy how the reviewers treated this game. Alot of bad reviews from publications that judged the game based on play with bots since nobody had it yet, judging an online multiplayer based on bot-play, classy. The game has also been bashed because of its netcode and lag problems, what game doesn't have this kind of problem at launch. Really shows how biased and all around bad most game review sites are. Games like Gears of War 2 come out with and don't work at all online and get 10s across the board. Then these same review sites go on to ***** and moan about how there's no originality in gaming. I look forward to the 9s and 10s for Call of Duty 16 later this year.

I've heard mostly good things from some friends that have the game, still not all that interested in it.

Should we assume that Brink is not worth getting?

Still haven't played it. Or Dead Space 2. Or Heavy Rain. Or God of War 3. Or KillZone 3. All of which I bought the day they came out.

Looks like you've got some work to do. I look forward to your report, though.
