Thinking about making this an annual thread.

If you could bring back any player in UT history, only 1, that you believe compliments this current team and could push them to the next level, who would it be?

My go to would be EB. I think our offense needs a lot this year to be top notch, but our D will be strong and with a stud all American caliber DB in the backfield it could be a defense that would carry us to a playoff run.

Given the youth on O, especially at QB...I'd say Jeff Hall. We'll need all the points we can get.

The only answer is Peyton Manning and it's the answer every year from now until the end of football.

I'll take John Henderson because buck fama.

I'm going to cheat a little here and say one on offense and one on defense. On defense I'm going with John Henderson to help solidify a depleted D-line. On offense I'm going with Robert Meachem. With a brand new starting QB we need a proven WR that could help take the pressure off him a little.

With all due respect for Peyton, he couldn't get it done with a team that was way more talented. I just don't know if he would really be that much help with our current team.

Not showing him his due respect if you don't acknowledge that he was the best we've ever had at the position. And if the rest of the team had played as well as he did, we would have cruised to a national championship.

Can I not do that while stating he isn't the best option for the team this year? Sure he was really good, but he couldn't beat a good Florida team with a lot more talent around him than he would have now. Plus he plays an Alabama team that is better than any Florida team he ever had to play (arguably).

TL;DR Calm down
