it feels so good to be a Vol fan right now. It's little things like hearing players say Go Vols when they finish an interview. Or watching the guy at the game pointing out the things at the stadium to his little boy.

I know I'm still pumped from the game. And thats probably all it is. But something feels different. I like it.

We are back. Next year it is on. I haven't felt this good since we hired Dave Clawson.

Like I said earlier this week....Tennessee football is getting that family feel back to it again...Fans are excited, Players are excited and having FUN again and playing together like a TEAM...I for one am loving it!....Now lets go give UF what its needed for a long long time and I quote the great Ron Wright, It's time to give em a good ole fashioned Tennessee dawg whoopin! :loco:

I sure hope we can continue to improve... Other than that, it is great to have our brand on national television and to matter again, even if it is just for a little while this year.

It's pretty awesome. Dooley is a fun coach to support and we have a puncher's chance in any game, it makes for a great team to watch.

If we beat UF, this season is going to be really fun to watch. The Bama and LSU games will take on a whole new meaning. While maybe not winning, UT will give them everything they can handle and more.

I don't think so. I think this year is going to be very special. Most of us feel it. I am not saying we will win10 games, or even 9, we may not even beat UF, but I think this year is special. You can't see it, but we know what it is, that's what you are feeling.

Even though its been two games, I feel so much better about being a Vol... I can actually watch the game without cringing every time we step back to pass... We're gonna be good if not amazing given time to grow.. Should be a fun season. Especially next year.

Not trying to be a smarta$$ & what you say is said a lot on VN so it must be on a lot of folks' minds but I don't understand that POV. I'm a fan so I don't have any reason at all to keep myself "in check". I go into the F'lard game thinking we're gonna win....like every week. If we lose, the next game I'm thinking we're gonna win. I may be nervous about games, but I'm just a fan....I don't get paid to be correct. When exactly did FANS need to be careful of being wrong? Go, you dang Vols. Whoop them reptiles and make 'em like it. :pepper:

It always feels like that for me, but it just makes it better when you're winning and see the right people doing the right things.

Dooley and this staff may be here for awhile. It's going to be very special and it's going to be a long, successful run.

for the first time in a long time the staff, personnel, and attitude are confidence inspiring.

doesn't guarantee that we will beat the 'turds, but it is fun to watch and hopefully means that we will soon be back to being competitive in the SEC.

I think the Big O is up! Rocky Top is getting ready to rule again with the ole long hunter rifle. The ole flint lock rifle. Maybe I will get my leather from a cow instead of a Gator!!

Or what about the shaved head guy that was flippin the bird too the refs after a bad call right there on national tv!! The dollar store is totally out of orange pants!!

What makes it different for me is that i watch and i see a TEAM. Guys that care about their teamates and Tennessee. I see raw talent. Dooley is trying to change how things have been. This group of guys could do big things in the next couple of years. A great time to be a VOL!
