Brian Kelly Postgame Press Conference

Already seems like the press is starting to turn on him. He was getting some tough questions.
As he should. Some of his actions were ridiculous. He absolutely did not put them in a position to be competitive. I love aggressiveness and aggressive play calling. I thought Napier did it when it made sense. Kelly did not. He absolutely should have taken field goals and played field position at times.

Coach (after 2 failed 4th down attempts and 3 missed passes) what made you go for it going into the half?

"Necessity. Felt like we had to make something happen. Felt like we needed it to 'continue to be aggressive'" "4th and 10 it was a GREEN in our book"

"Continue" ? after 2 failed attempts ?

Excellent.

Exactly. If he's being truthful, that says a lot. Just remember, the media doesn't want you to know that LSU is rebuilding, too. I mean, the hype-machine was in overdrive for them the last 4-5 days.

Yes. The way he did it, it told his team, "We are not as good; we are desperate."

Kame out of the gate blaming the kick returner. He keeps talking about the botched kick return fumble. Dude, you lost by 4 touchdowns. Take that one away and you still lost by three touchdowns.

Yeah, even when he was stating the obvious... that he needs to "coach better" (like, no ****, Sherlock), it just struck me as disingenuous at best
