yea but Spurrier has no where near the talent that we have so his problem is not really evaluating the talent but rather trying to find it... CPF has the talent but he just cant see it i guess, but i bet if Spurrier had our talent that he would have no problem evaluating the guys who should be on the field
I don't really think the talent gap is that wide. Spurrier has signed some bang up recruits and had strong classes. Therefore, it appears he's having a hard time figuring out who to put in the game, just like we are. That's not to say that he wouldn't do more with our talent than our staff is. However, I'm not going to give him a blanket pass when he's shuffling in Columbia the same way our coaches are.
just about everyone on Spurrier's team is about as talented as the next guy... on CPF's team there is a big gap between several players as far as talent and the least talented players are the ones who have seen the field so far... There should be no confusion that Eric Berry is more talented than Jarod Parrish, Kenny O'neal is more talented than Austin Rogers, Brent Vinson is more talented than Gaines, Denarius Moore is more talented than Quinton Hancock and Josh Briscoe, Ben Martin is more talented than Antonio Reynolds, Myers-White and Chris Walker are more talented than Ryan Karl, Lennon Creer is more talented than Montario Hardesty, and Lamarcus Coker is more talented than Arian Foster... Spurrier would have no problem recognizing the gaps between any of those players
