Brent Vinson.....

Seems as if he has done very little to impress throughout practice thus far. Does anyone know what team he is working with and if he is improving enough to contend for a starting spot? There was so much hype around him coming out of prep school and once he has got to UT all I've heard is how he's disappointed and looked lost. Any news on him?

As for the nagging shoulder injury that slowed Vinson in prep school, Taylor said, “Hadn’t bothered him one bit.”




This doesn't sounds like he will be a disappointmnet IMO

I wouldnt buy into this practice stuff either...once he learns his stuff and gets accustomed to UT, he should be fine.

The only thing that is going to keep Vinison off the field is running the wrong route or dropping passes. He has the speed to be a starter.

Yeah, Trooper has said his problem is that he is thinking too much right now and just needs to play. If we can get through the first 3 games(I still think Cal is overrated, we will be up for 1st game at home, and UF has youth issues as well), then we will see a whole lot of talent starting to emerge. Then we have a fluff game before some more tough games to boot.
