Where is this team?* altered some w/ DR gone.* been prepareing for NCST last 2 weeks.* CP has had to learn some new things.* Team is ready.* they believe in themselves

Signs of improvement?* running lanes has improved.* OL focused.* communicating good before snap and even after snap.*

CP84:* hope he is mature mentally.* really mature physically.* was not hard at JUCU.* see how he handles disguised defenses and zones.* JUCO has simple schemes.

Defense: NCST will test D with motions.* get our D out of linement.* Communication among D is a real indicator of where the D will be.* D has made a lot of strides.* improved physically and communication. will be put to a test when the lights come on.

Safeties: secondary communication: Dooley made a good move with a safety coach and corner coach.* Multiple formations with nickle and dime must have good communication.* realy like Conklin.* Herman got to help with the back end communication along with front end.* Lathers is the Key

Break:

Size of D Line: 1998 team and 2001 that compares size wise to our D line now. Never have we lines up with 360 in middle and the size outside.* you have to with a 3-4.*

*McCullers can he go whole game? scrimmages are not as fast as a regular game.* must learn to pace yourself.* Hood will get in rotation.* will be a adjustment period with players being hyped.*

Dooley:* how will we frame this NCST game: publically giving them ton of respect.* he is giving confidence to his current team.* no flipped remarks on the team.* business like approach* treating them more like pros and being demanding.* Take care of business. this is your time and time to show everybody we are ready to play.* a matter of fact approach and thats what TN fans want to see.* no excuses.*

Bray: Maturity during a game?next step for him this season not just this game.* he will not be perfect Friday.* he must be patient and not force.* trust his checkdowns.* not just throw it up to no.11.* he has shown signs of his progression.* proof is in the pudding.* his command and demeanor is much better.* time to show it.

word is TN wears Orange and NCST Red.* each home jerseys

Recruiting:* going ok:* interest from quality guys.* at the point now where recruits want to see TN win.* Friday night is important.

Nice, thanks.

On a side note, did you take notes or did you just memorize what you heard and paraphrase? :)

McCullers will be lucky to play half the game. Even if he were the fittest 360 pound guy in the country, he couldn't play anywhere close to the whole game.

One of the coaches--chaney, I think--said yesterday or day before that Patterson was going to make a lot of mental mistakes, which doesn't leave me feeling great. We'll see. We gotta win this game.

I agree with him about Bray and his checks. If Bray tries to force it deep to JH and CP when it's not there, he's going to make Amerson and the zone defense look good. But I think there will be a lot of room for Neal and Young coming out of the backfield if Bray is patient and just gets it to the open guy underneath.

Is anyone here from NW Florida? Unfortunately, I will be in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida on the night of our first game this Friday and was wondering if you knew of any Tennessee viewing parties or bars where I could watch the game. I’d be willing to drive to Destin or other surrounding areas if you don’t have any specific places that you know of in Santa Rosa. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!! GBO!!!

That will depend on our offense. As long as we keep the chains moving, he could play the majority.

There is a bar right before you get to the 30A/395 intersection (going towards seasisde) that had the UT NIT game on last year. might be worth checking out.

I think he said " might make a few" being first time in big game - not was " going to"

McCullers said a couple days ago that the coaches want him to play 30 snaps a game.
