Breaking point? Cincinnati politician says to Bengals, 'Seriously, just go.'

I think we may be getting to the point where the taxpayers are revolting against sweetheart deals to keep or draw teams.

I think tax payers should revolt against these sweetheart deals. That's just me. I love football and all but paying for a stadium for a billionaire? Not my idea of a good time.

Tax money should never be used to fund a private citizen's business venture. Pro sports teams are owned by private individuals or companies and as a result all expenditures associated with said team should be the responsibility of the owner. That includes a stadium and the maintenance thereof. Owners who play the "I'll just move someplace else if you don't pay for my new stadium" should be told to f off by the city.
