Peyton Manning Tennessee Titans Denver Broncos 031312 - NFL News | FOX Sports on MSN

Between Tennessee and Denver...

And I don't care what anyone says.. I've thought about it, and this is huge pub for the Vols and puts (let's face it) a currently irrelevant program on the map... You have to think, today ESPN went to the streets of Nashville to see the "Manning Fever" with street fiddle players playing Rocky Top and everyone saying COME HOME!.. If this happens for the Titans, alot will be said about him returning back to Tennessee where he played in college. 50/50 chance I think atp

Not much of a percentage chance. Everything in life is 50/50. You either do, or you don't.

Question: When Archie Manning left the Oilers after his time with the Saints, who took his place under center for Houston?

Answer: Oliver Luck...guess who his son is....as my son says (from whom I stole this tidbit) that's creepy!

he is going to Denver, the Titans thing is a PR ploy for both him and the Titans. Titans really arent that close to competing and why on earth you would bet that much $ on ANYONE (PM included) w 3 -4 neck surgeries in 9 months is CRAZY.

It would certainly be great if Peyton would come back to Tennessee and the Titans could certainly use his help. It would be a PR bonanza for Tennessee and the Titans.

I agree about the PR but I think they could use his help only if the money was right. If I were Bud I would consider paying him a premium for all the no. 18 jerseys that would be sold but other than that we have two pretty good QBs

Titans would be super bowl contenders w Peyton. Broncos moreso, but not as much as people think, IMO

Aren't that close to competing???????? Came down to the last day to make the playoffs. Titans allowed second fewest sacks in the league last year. One of the best O-lines in football. One of the best running backs in football. Young, nasty defense. I believe the Titans are closer to putting it together than Denver. Don't mention Denver went to the playoffs. They won against poor competition and LOST to the Titans.

agreed plus they did that with a first year coach who didn't even have the full offseason to coach his team. If they win one bone-headed game they lost (@JAX @IND or CIN) they're in the playoffs. I think they'll be a winning team next year, maybe 10-6 if the schedule works out and Kenny Britt can keep from tearing his ACL

Denver didn't just make it to the playoffs - they won in the playoffs too. And Denver's D is better than the Titan's D.

Decker is serviceable. Thomas is pretty solid. Peyton would def make both better.

They still aren't the caliber players he needs as weapons. I think that the Broncos had a chance to sign Wayne, and with Wayne staying in Indy, I think Peyton doesn't sign with Denver. I've never understood the whole Denver thing anyway. Coach Fox is a running and very conservative offensive head coach, not exactly one to let a QB have the entire reigns.

That division was horrifyingly bad. Yeah their defense is better than the titans, but a confluence of factors allowed the Broncos to get where they did. Including luck

Easy answer, money. Heard on 680 the fan in atl yesterday that an nfl team crunched numbers and estimated that any of the teams considering PM will get an immediate 12 million boost in season ticket sales PER YEAR. That doesnt include concrssions, parking, apparrell, etc. Any team that takrs him makes money, regardless of wins and losses.

I think it's a better than 50 percent chance he comes here now. I just hope they get the defensive pieces they need to help him out.
