Bray's reaction to the season

I'm sure he is happy getting his ass whipped on the field and butchered off of it by media and fans.

If he was doing cart wheels, we would say he didn't care.

Sounds like he has a good bit of personal accountability. Can't be easy on him. I hope we pull out a win in South Carolina.

Well the season's not over he needs to buck up. The kid has a world of talent and I'm not buying the play Worley stuff. If he were better he would be starting.

When I see Bray in interviews like this I think nothing other than he's just a guy who hates interviews with the media. Now granted we like to think the QB will step up and give an awesome interview and fire everyone up since he's the leader of the team, but people will come down harder on the way he speaks to the media because we're losing. If he did that exact same interview and we were undefeated, the fanbase would be saying "I love this guy!! He doesn't care to talk to the media he's all business!!!"

He seems defeated to me. Maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't appear that Bray has any fire.

I am sure it's not easy for Tyler to go through everything he has been going through. It's apart of being a quarterback at any major college but that doesn't make it easier. I am sure he is tired of losing and I am sure he is tired of being asked about losing and the mistakes he makes in the losses.

April 2011 wasn't 7 months ago chief :hi:

Fair enough, miscalculation. But seriously though how old are you?

says the guy who didn't go to high school with Justin and watching him play EVERY friday night.

Maybe not, but I did watch him last year. But South Carolina high school football and SEC football are the same right?

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Worley is bad, at all. I'm just saying that if the coaches thought he were a better qb he would've been the #1 going in. Am I wrong?

Defeated? eh, not really. I think he just really hates interacting with the media. I've watched his press conferences for three years and in every one he comes across as disinterested, low key, and not very passionate about what he's doing. At times he seems even sheepish. I also know from the way he's been playing that no one cares more than he does. You don't make risky throws and poor decisions because you're intentionally trying to lose. You make those throws because you're desperate to make a play for your football team. Bray is just overthinking things right now. He needs to settle down and let the game come to him and start emphasizing solid decision making over big plays.

I don't care if he cares. I don't care if he feels picked on. I don't even care if he's happy or not.

What I care about is seeing him play to his ability and not choke when his team needs a play out of him.

If you listen to Bray's own words which are similar to words he used following UGA, UF, and maybe MSU... he is defining what it means to choke under pressure.

I have stated where I stand on Dooley and it has not changed. He's ultimately responsible for wins and losses. He's had his chance. IMO, it should be down to a 5 game disqualifying match. Win them all... or be replaced.

That said, I feel sorry for the guy too. Not because of money but because the guys he thought he didn't have to worry about... the guys he thought would be big time players for him have cost him big games. He put the these games in the hands of Bray and Hunter... and they didn't come through.

Hopefully whatever happens with Dooley this will be a lesson learned. Never assume any guy will come through and never be afraid to replace even your best players if they underperform. But I don't think many here can imagine the stress he's under right now... mostly because of those two guys.

Its make it or break it this weekend. If we win it could buy Dooley another year. If we get ****ted on then he is definitely out.

There is a simple way to fix that.....

That is Bray's personality whether that makes him a leader is in question, but he is being accountable.
