With his great performances at the end of last season, you'd think Bray would be getting more love this off season. But I hardly hear him discussed by the National media when they speak about the SEC QB's.

Tyler Wilson at ARK is getting talked about as if he is the next peyton manning, but he is yet to do much besides warm the bench for Mallett last year. Yet he is consistently ranked ahead of Bray.

I know Bray's performances last season weren't against the best competition, but wonder if he is flying under the radar? If he has a big game against UF I bet he will be a new star in this Conference.

Would you rank Wilson ahead of Bray like all the talking heads do?

Bray will have more yds and TD than any other SEC QB this season

As of right now I don't have a problem with these rankings. Bray still needs to prove himself against the sec power houses.

I wouldn't say he isn't getting any respect because he is getting a little but not much. I believe he will put up huge numbers against both montana and cincy which will bring some regional attention to him. If he is able to perform well in the swamp on the 17th and we come out of there with a win against the gators he will get national attention and really begin to get respect as one of the next great QB's in the county. But that is a big IF

Awesome belt! Bray is the real deal at QB. I think he even suprised the coaches with some of those throws he made last season. He was so raw when he was in there last year, and had to deal with a nearly all freshman O line. With the work he has put in with CJC this off season, he could EXPLODE on the SEC this season.

Change those to when and I'm with ya.

He's on a couple of awards watch lists after 5 starts. That doesn't mean an awful lot in the preseason, but he isn't being totally ignored.

that seems a fair assessment to me, Bray has yet to see the good defense in the SEC ,that will tell, how good he is going to be or not ,and the OL is still young and a bunch of receivers are gone,i would say it is a work in progress,it is going to take time

JMO..I believe we will be ultra conservative in our first 2 games..DO NOT expect a blowout against Montana..we will pound the rock and control the clock. When we go to Gville..Chaney will open it up..

His Orange and White performance left something to be desired amongst the media IMO.
I would rather Bray be considered middle of the pack (less pressure) but you can bet SEC competition will not buy into these ranking when game planning for Bray. May be one of the most feared QB's in the SEC, because he can straight light it up at any given moment and put points on the board in a millisecond

I like this strategy. Play basic ball first two games, then come out in five wide against the Gators and bombs away!

I think he has a better arm and has a better team surrounding him. He also looked very good coming in against Auburn.

Garrett Gilbert also looked good coming in and filling in when Colt McCoy got knocked out of the National Championship game against Bama year before last. He also completely sucked last year. You can't go by one performance to determine how good a QB really is. Remember when Crompton filled in against LSU? Remember how he played as a full time starter his junior year. He was awful. I think Wilson will be pretty good, but only time will tell if he will be great. Bray has definitely proven himself more.

Sounds completely reasonable to me. From the way the OP was complaining before I clicked the link, I was expecting a lower ranking than 5.

Arkansas is going to be damn good this year. They are my pick to win the West. Does 'Bama even know who their QB is yet?
