Can SEC schools get QB transfers with one year of eligibility left? All the ones I remember recently had at least 2.

Coker is a RS Junior I believe. Same as Peterman graduated in 3 yrs and redshirted. So Nate can transfer anywhere that offers something in his post graduate degree. Same as with Coker.

I don't know if this has already been discussed, but all incoming SEC transfers (graduate student, JUCO, or regular student) are required to have at least two years of eligibility. This does not appear to be something that can be waived with an appeal.

Not sure where he was in his eligibility clock though. I do remember he had graduated so I wouldn't think it wasn't super early. I know the NCAA had to grant him a waiver or something for him to play immediately.

A change very well could have been made. I'm sure someone could post the rule change if it's been amended since then.

They did change it because of Masoli but I don't know if they changed it again or what the deal is because Florida somehow got that one TE transfer from Virginia that was a senior.

It's a long shot but if we somehow pulled Braxton Miller, we'd be clear cut SEC East favorites and a playoff contender. JMO.
