It took a coaching staff getting fired for them to use him right

Exactly right. Something tells me that Warren feels the same way.

"I should have been playing receiver my whole career," Warren said. "It's great to finally play a position you feel like you were born to play. Everything just feels more natural."

It also took the current coaching staff to call him out publicly before he turned things around this summer.

Agreed, the year out of football during the transfer didn't help either. Between that and the new coaching staff having to push him a bit, he just hasn't had it worked out personally either. Hopefully this season will indicate that everything is finally coming together.

Florida State played him at TE as well, where he was a freshman All-American. I guess their coaching staff didn't know better either.

Well, you have to be on the field period to be used right or wrong... Our previous coaching staff apparently didn't realize he was eligible last year.

I'm not a Fulmerite or anything but I don't blame the previous coaches for not using him a lot last year, he looked lazy and slow in all the pregame drills....like a bit of a "I don't need to do this kind of attitude"

Hopefully.........he has straighten up and will play like an All American for the Vols this year.
