Scored 32 last night and is averaging close to 20 ppg this season. Would have really liked to seen him play college ball for a year.

How is playing overseas a blessing in disguise? You make money, get to travel and get a better preparation for the NBA than the NCAA could ever give you.

Well, I was mainly talking about the preparation of playing against the pros as opposed to playing in college. Just saying it worked out well for him apparently

I don't get why people are saying this won't become a trend... It will take a lot of time, but in ten years I could see the premier US HS talent going overseas to get ready for the NBA instead of staying for college. IMO that makes a better product for everybody.

Sonny Vaccaro is doing back flips of joy.

I think we will need to see kids coming back from Europe and being successful NBA players on a consistent basis before we can judge it solely on Jennings. Jeremy Tyler is over there now but honestly, these seem to be studs regardless if they play in college or Europe. Not like Jennings was going to be a bust.

Jennings has played much better than expected and has attributed it to his experience in Europe.

I'd say Jennings is right. Nothing increases your basketball skills like playing against better competition. European leagues can offer young talent from our country a salary and tougher competition. What's not to like? It's the way of the future for star high school talent.

Going to Europe definitely helps them grow up as man more than college. Anyone else see that Jennings has spent barely anything of his salary because he is aware of the potential financial difficulties down the road. Going to Europe also helps them learn how to be professional and will help avoid a rookie burnout down the stretch because they have prepared for a proper season before.

Obviously it's not for everyone, i mean i know i wouldn't be prepared to go and live in another country that doesn't speak English for a year but if people think they are up to it i think it should be encouraged. They will learn more life lessons in that year than they would in 4 years of college.

Jennings will end up being the best PG in the NBA!

He's very talented, but I do not know about all that! Don't forget about ole Chris Paul and D-Wade! I can't see him ever outshining these future hall-of-famers!

BTW... Picked Jennings up in fantasy about a week and half ago! Pick up of the year, I must say...

It will end up being a real good debate between Jennings & Paul. Also Wade is a SG not PG.

Actually Wade was a point-guard, but he's way too big of a threat offensively so they moved him to SG. However, he still handles the ball quite a bit.

I believe in Jennings as well, but to start comparing him to CHRIS PAUL at this point is absolutely absurd! It's like saying if Tyler Bray throws for 300+ in his first game, he is the second coming of Peyton Manning! Jennings is just starting his 4th week in the NBA EVER, making it way tpo premature to tell what will become of him... JMO!
