I’ve been on the field at Neyland for big games several times as well as other stadiums and nothing compares to Neyland. The stadiums where the stands run parallel to the sidelines are way louder. Denny, Jordan, Samford etc…have them bowl type designs have the fans several yards away and it doesn’t seem as loud on the field.

That’s scoring defense. Total defense is measured in yards allowed.

Regardless, you’re right. Tennessee is around 6th or 7th in the SEC in total D.
