ETSU? maybe, but it's doubtful. Milligan no. They never cancelled classes. I got in trouble once for not being able to get out in the snow to get to Convo.

i know back home(lebanon) that wilson county schools are out. but it's suppose to get down to like 2 there. here in huntsville they are saying we are suppose to get down to like 8. coldest its been here in 6 yrs.

Looks like Knox County is still on for tomorrow. I mean today. Knox County wouldn't take a freaking day off if there were tornado warnings going off all day long. They wouldn't do it. The teachers would be reading our assignment to us while we're in that sheltered position, as the tornado came right over us.

Oh well, I'm homeschooled anyways, so what do I care?

School is closed here in Jessamine County tomorrow as well. ( Nicholasville, KY ) Tonight the air temperature is going to be -3. The high for tomorrow is 12. My 13 year old son couldn't be happier.

I hear you. My wife bops around on the Navy Pier in Chitown with the hawk screaming off the lake like it's nothing. Get back home and get the house below 70, she acts like I'm asking her to be an emperor penguin.

My kids were out of school today also, our temperature is 5 the wind chill makes it feel like -15. Our school system sends out a pre-programmed message to your phone, the night before a delay or cancellation. There are times school has been canceled in the early morning though.

Me too. It was 10 miles, uphill both ways.
