I am genuinely curious... when is the last time we won a game that Brad Nessler called? I know we have not won a game that he has called since he moved to SEC on CBS.

Holy crap what a drop from 4 to 5.

To be fair, our 3:30 game is pretty much always against a Top 5 Georgia or Alabama.

Unfortunately when you play Florid and Bama every year and they've won a ton more than us this is what happens! But this is a new year! Let go! Gbo!

If watching TV, turn off the sound and call your own game. However, your neighbors may call either the Swat or a Jesuit exorcist priest, depending on the type of noises you make while calling the game.

here is a summary of his career… I’m sure we’ve won an ESPN prime time game he called….

When Nessler began calling college football for ABC in 1997 he was regarded as the #3 play-by-play man behind Keith Jackson and Brent Musburger. He was promoted to #2 upon Jackson's scaling back to West Coast games in 1999, and was the #1 Saturday afternoon play-by-play man from 2006 until the 2008 season. In July 2009, ESPN announced that Nessler would move to the top play-by-play man for ESPN's coverage of college football, being primarily responsible for ESPN's Saturday Primetime game airing at 7:45 PM Eastern Time.

I did a research project when I worked at UT on the all-time announcers and kept updating it after I left, so this was an easy search. The last Tennessee win that Nessler called was the 2009 South Carolina game. Since then:

2010 - Alabama
2012 - Florida, Alabama
2014 - Ole Miss
2015 - Oklahoma
2017 - Florida, Georgia, Alabama
2018 - Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, West Virginia
2020 - Georgia, Alabama
2021 - Georgia

So here's to breaking the streak.
