There is frequently trade-offs between short and long term. Trump is willing to completely ignore long term consequences for any amount of short term benefit.

Actually that would be moving towards true conservative values. Respecting individual rights and liberty, the left does neither unless those rights and liberties match what they believes in.

In another succinct way, it’s a method of categorization. Dims are too stupid to get out of their own way, so they believe in divvying up the populace along racial, sexual, and cultural lines, thereby increasing their partisan reach and garnering more votes.

That's the difference in conservative and liberal. Conservatives typically don't give a **** who or what your screwing. They just don't think anyone deserves special status for it.

No, Trump was like that in the 90s. The only thing it proves is that Obama's cult like followers are able to project any face they want onto Obama. See Jim Jones for a extreme example of this sort of mass delusion.

Republicans are not always, actually rarely now, conservative. True conservatives value individual rights and liberties, live and let live whether you like it or not. Can't say that about liberals.
