Take it to trial. Let it play out in the public arena as visibly and loudly as possible. This will be for the left what bathrooms and wedding cakes were for the right. (except much more valid)

I wondered how long his would take. I would like to see a gay person or minority try the same thing. Oh I guess you want me to be defenseless against bigots and racists rather than sell me a gun?

Oh I definitely hope it goes to trial. If the kid loses I really want to hear a judge ruling affirmative on age discrimination. This one might go to SCOTUS!

The kid will not lose. It will only serve to highlight the necessity of changing the legal age to purchase to 21, which is what most people want anyway.

So you are going to tell a whole generation that they are mature enough to live on their own, join the military and vote but are to immature to buy a gun?
